Abstract：

The Tarim Desert Road (G216) is from Luntai to Minfeng in the Taklamakan Desert, and completed in 1995. The geolocation of Tarim Desert Road Protection Oasis is between 37°22′59″N and 40°49′17″N, 82°50′19″E and 84°20′22″E. Its function is for protecting the Tarim Desert Road. It is about 420 km long from north to south. The area of the Tarim Desert Road Protection Oasis is 52.26 km² (Albers). The vegetation in the oasis is dominated by wind and sand-fixing shrubs such as tamarisk, Calligonum and Haloxylon ammodendron. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 16 data files with data size of 13.4 MB (compressed into 2 files with 5.31 MB).
