Abstract：
Global ocean surface Chlorophyll-a concentration fusion 4-km grid dataset (1998-2018) was developed based on the data integration among the Chlorophyll-a concentration data from SeaWIFS, Terra, Aqua, MERIS and VIIRS from January 1998 to December 2018. The data fusion technology was based on wavelet transform, Kalman filtering, the look-up table method and the maximum value synthesis method. The spatial resolution of the dataset is 4 km, and the temporal resolution is month, season, and year. The dataset is archived in .tif data format, and consists of 357 data files with data size of 50.1 GB (compressed into 64 data files with 19.4 GB). The correlation between the dataset and the measured data is 79% in 2008.
