Abstract：
The geolocation of the ChangJi Consolidated Metropolitan Area from 124。57′40″E to 126。56′25″E, and from 43。15′37″N to 44。31′32″N, covers Changchun and Jilin cities, plus Jiutai City、Yongji County and Fanjiatun Town. Total area of the region is 13,561.82 km. Based on the data integration between the land use surveying and google earth images, the Rural Settlements Dataset in Changchun-Jilin Consolidated Metropolitan Area _2010 was developed. 34,467 rural settlements were identified between 17m2 to 1.32km2. The total area of the rural settlements is 819.30km2. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .ship formats with the compressed data size of 24.6MB. The analysis paper based on the dataset was published at Journal of Geoinfomatics, No.8, Vol.17, 2015.
