Abstract：
Integrating the lowest temperature records in 121 metrological stations in the Inner Mongolia and surrounding area and the linear regression model, Sen Trend Model and the Mann Kendall statistical method, the Cold surge frequency dataset in Inner Mongolia (1960-2012) was developed. The dataset is consisted of ten tables, they are: (1) Location of meteorological stations in Inner Mongolia and surrounding areas;(2) Annual variation of cold surge of single station in Inner Mongolia during 1960-2012; (3) Spring variation of cold surge of single station in Inner Mongolia during 1960-2012; (4) Monthly variation of cold surge of single station in Inner Mongolia during 1960-2012; (5) Regional variation of cold surge in Inner Mongolia during 1960-2012; (6) Annual variation of cold surge of each station in Inner Mongolia during 1960-2012; (7) Cold surge frequency of each station during 1960-2012 and cold surge frequency of turning point before and after 1991 in Inner Mongolia; (8) Distribution of cold surge frequency of each station in Inner Mongolia; (9) Distribution of cold surge frequency of each station in Inner Mongolia; and (10) Variation trend of cold surge in Inner Mongolia. The dataset is archived in the .xlsx and .shp format with the data size of 48KB. The analysis paper was published at the Journal of Geographical Sciences, No. 3, Vol. 25, 2015.
