Abstract：
The Quantitative Evaluation Dataset of China's Supply-Side Energy Transition and Urban-Rural Energy Equity (2005-2020) was developed based on socioeconomic statistical data from China Energy Statistical Yearbook, China Electric Power Yearbook, and China Urban-Rural Construction Statistical Yearbook (Data for Xizang, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan were unavailable), integrated with the energy transition index model. The dataset includes: (1) provincial-level supply-side energy transition indices (2005-2018) and corresponding raw input data for index computation; (2) quantitative urban-rural energy equity assessments (2007-2020) comprising three dimensional indices: energy affordability equity index, energy accessibility equity index, and energy sustainability equity index. The dataset is archived in .xlsx and .shp formats, comprising 22 data files with a total volume of 3.67 MB (compressed into one single file with 2.4 MB). The research findings based on the dataset have been published at Resources Science, Vol. 46, No. 9, 2024.
