Abstract：
The Donggi Conag Lake, also known as Toso Lake, Black Sea, is located in Qinghai Province, China, between Anyemaqen Mountains and Burhabuda Mountain and the eastern end of Kunlun Mountains. It is a large fresh water lake of the Tosu River in the upper reaches of Xiangrde River on the southern side of Qaidam Basin, formed by the fault depression of East Kunlun orogenic structure. The geo-location of the lake is from 35°12′33″N to 35°23′2″N and 98°20′52″E to 98°44′54″E. The water surface area of the lake in 2015 is 243.82 km², the length of lake shore line is 165.05 km. There are eight islands in the lake, among which the biggest one has an area of 0.31 km² and the smallest one has an area of 542.40 m². It is alpine steppe climate with annual mean temperature of -5.2~2.3 ℃, annual average precipitation of about 300 mm and annual evaporation of about 1300 mm. The average elevation is 4090 m above sea level. The lake water is mainly from glacial meltwater, surface runoff and underground diving. The glacial meltwater and surface runoff are mainly from Dongqu River and Xiemaangli River which all originate from the Animaqing Mountains, southeast of the lake. Dongqu River is its largest recharge runoff. The dataset is based on Google Earth images (2015) and referenced maps. The dataset is consisted of 22 data files, archived in both .kmz and .shp data formats with data size of 3.26 MB (compressed to 1.14 MB in two files).
