Abstract：

The Seasonal NPP (Net Primary Productivity) dataset (2018) of the Mangrove Ecosystem in Guixian Island of China (2018) is developed based on alternative VDVI (Visible-band Difference Vegetation Index), CASA model and image data collected by drone seasonal aerial photography in 2018, as well as precipitation, temperature and solar radiation data from nearby weather stations. The result shows that the spatial differences of vegetation NPP are obviousin different seasons, and the NPP values of the four seasons are arranged in descending order: summer, autumn, spring and then winter. The dataset includes the following data of mangrove ecosystem in Guixian Island in 2018: (1) landscape image (.jpg); (2) point based data of vegetation landscape types, VDVI vegetation index, seasonal and annual NPP (.shp). The dataset is archived in the .jpg and .shp data formats, and consists of 9 data files with a data sizeof 15.5 MB (compressed to one single file with 3.11 MB).
