Abstract：

Renhe Reservoir is one of the winter fish-catching places in Panshi, Jilin Province of China. It is located on the Baomachuan River in the Huifa River Basin. It is administrated by Renhe Village, Songshan Town, Panshi City, Jilin Province. It lies between 42º42′54″N and 42º43′29″N, 126º27′33″E and 126º27′51″E. In summer of 2020, the area of the reservoir is 252,138 m² and its perimeter is 3029 m. The reservoir is classified to be small 2 in the Reservoir Classification System. The main water is from atmospheric precipitation and seasonal snow melt water and the Baomachuan River. The annual precipitation in the region is about 400 mm, and the annual average temperature is 5.3 ℃. The lowest temperature appears in January, with an average of -18.4 ℃. The reservoir was built in 1965, and had a storage capacity of 1.0x10⁴ m³. The average water depth is 2.5 m, and the maximum depth is 4 m. The bottom of the reservoir is silt with a thickness of 35 cm. The main function of the reservoir is to irrigate and nourish the downstream rice fields and the second is to breed the fish. The main fish species supported in the reservoir are Hypophthalmichthys molitrix, Hypophthalmichthys nobilis, Cyprinus carpio and Ctenopharyngodon idellus. The benthic organisms are mainly mussels and snails. The water quality is better than Water Quality Standard for Fisheries (GB11607-89), according to the testing data in 2021. The content of cadmium, chromium, copper, lead and other elements are all zero. Arsenic is 0.0035%, nickel is 0.0022%, zinc is 0.0001%, mercury is 0.00004% and the pH value is 7.8. The suitable period for Winter Fish-catching is from 30th in December to 20th in January. The dataset is developed based on Google Earth image. It is archived in .shp, .kmz data formats with data size of 37.4 KB (compressed into 2 files with 11 KB).
