Abstract:

Using the Landsat series and GF1 remote sensing images as data sources, the authors developed vector boundary data of Mapam Yumco from 1972-2023 through manual visual interpretation, and calculated the corresponding lake area to obtain the Mapam Yumco changes dataset (1972-2023). The dataset includes the vector boundary and area of Mapam Yumco in 27 periods from 1972, 1977, 1994, 2000-2023. The spatial resolution of the data is 30 m. In which, the area changes during the half of century is 6.59 km² the largest area is 415.78 km² in 2000, the smallest is 409.19 km² in 1994. The spatial resolution is 30 m. The dataset is archived in .shp data format, and consists of 189 data files with data size of 276 KB (Compressed into 1 file with 198 KB).
