Abstract:
The authors constructed natural baseline values of grassland potential productivity in the Arid and Semi-arid Region of Northwest China using remote sensing (MODIS MOD17A3HGF V6.1) and climatic data, applying empirical climate productivity potential models such as the Miami, Thornthwaite Memorial, and Integrated Models, along with Liebig's minimum factor law. The dataset includes the maximum grassland potential productivity from 2001 to 2023, with a spatial resolution of 500 m. The dataset is archived in .tif and .txt formats, and consists of 6 data files with data size of 18.3 MB (compressed into one single file with 16.4 MB).
