Abstract:
Yunyang Olive in subtropical low mountain and hilly area was designated as Case No. 25 of GIES. The case area is located in Anyang Town and Yangxipu Town, Yunyang District, Shiyan City, Hubei Province, situated within the core water source conservation zone of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project. This region is one of China’s twelve pioneering experimental zone for olive introduction and cultivation since 1964. The video employs a visualization approach integrating graphics, audio, and cinematography to demonstrate the collaboration among academic institutions, government, and enterprises, as well as the applications of big data, Internet of Things (IoT), and open science. It shows the superior natural ecological environment, high-quality olive products, effective scientific management, and social advancement within the case study area, serving as an exemplary practice of transforming ecological values into economic benefits. The dataset is archived in .mp4 data formats with a duration of 4:36 minutes.
