Abstract:
Market and the trade promotions are important factors to push forward the OCOP (One Country One Priority Product) Initiative to successful, especially in the case of Vietnam. To succeed in marketing and trade, it is essential to first ensure making the product to meet the quality by the government and global regulation on the quality; multi-value integration; culture and brand. Market and trade promotion can transform OCOP from a simple product into a powerful engine that can increase the income for the farmer. The successful story of Vietnam is not only about production, but also about marketing and trade promotion in terms of digital transformation to be applied for the trade system. The OCOP Initiative can accelerate the development of agricultural system that is resilient, fair, and sustainable. Vietnam's OCOP products have great potential, with promising prospects not only in the domestic market but also in the export market in the worldwide.
