Abstract:
Mexican Oasis is primarily distributed in northern arid regions and along transboundary river systems, between 23°54′48″N and 32°43′00″N, 100°47′45″W and 115°45′19″W. The total area is 50,460.97 km² (Albers). It is composed of 142 individual oases, including Cuauhtémoc Oasis, Hermosillo Oasis and Torreón Oasis, etc. Among them, the Cuauhtémoc Oasis is the largest one with an area of 6,819.53 km². The dataset was developed based on Google Earth 2020 imagery and related maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 17 data files with data size of 262 MB (compressed into 2 files with 100 MB).
