Abstract：
The Central Nicobar group is in the middle of the Nicobar Islands located in Bay of Bengal, Indian. It belongs to the Nicobar district of the Indian Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Its geo-location is 7°52′21″N-8°34′32″N, 93°2′8″E-93°39′21″E. There are 9 islands in Central Nicobar group, i.e., Chaura Island, Teressa Island, Bompoka Island, Tillanchong Island, Isle of Man, Trinkat Island, Camorta Island, Nancowry Island and Katchall Island. Among them, the Katchall Island is the biggest one, with the area of 135.98 km². The total area of the Islands is 436.35 km², and the coastline is 486.83 km. The dataset was developed based on the Google Earth and related maps and references. The dataset is consisted of 15 data files and archived in the .kmz and .shp data formats with the data size of 1.36 MB (Compressed to 570 KB in two files).
