Abstract：

Based on the information extracted from the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (ICTRP) of the World Health Organization (WHO) as of June 2, 2020 and the geo-location of each institute of vaccine development from the digital Baidu map, the dataset of the spatial distribution of China registers for COVID-19 vaccine trials and candidate vaccines was developed. The dataset includes: (1) Spatial distribution of China registers for COVID-19 vaccine trials; (2) Spatial distribution of China registrations for COVID-19 candidate vaccines in clinical evaluation; (3) Spatial distribution of China registers for COVID-19 candidate vaccines in preclinical evaluation. As of June 2, China has 5 candidate vaccines in clinical evaluation and 7 candidate vaccines in preclinical evaluation. The dataset is archived in 21 files in three folders, with the .shp format and the data size of 36.7 KB (compressed to 10 KB in one file). The dataset is one of supporting datasets for the China’s Research on COVIDE-19 Video Report (No.2): Vaccine Development, which was published at Global Change Data Repository on June 6, 2020.
