Abstract:

0.25° grid dataset of hydrometeorological and hydro-thermal coupling parameters in the Yellow River Basin (1988-2015) was developed based on the evapotranspiration (E) and potential evapotranspiration (Ep) data from version v3.7a of the Amsterdam global land evaporation Amsterdam model and the precipitation (PREC) data from the China regional surface meteorological element driven dataset in the National Tibetan Plateau Data Center, and integrated with the Budyko-Fu Model. Based on this model, we calculated the hydro thermal coupling parameters of the secondary basins in the Yellow River Basin, and sorted out the underlying surface factor and climate factor data which were strongly correlated with the hydro thermal coupling parameters. The dataset consists of grid data and table data. The spatial resolution of grid data is 0.25°, including the following data of the Yellow River Basin from 1988 to 2015: spatial distribution of annual temperature (TMP), precipitation (PREC), normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), and standardized precipitation evapotranspiration index (SPEI). The table data includes the data of hydro thermal coupling parameters of the secondary basins of the Yellow River Basin after moving average processing from 1988 to 2015. The dataset is archived in .nc and .xlsx formats, and consists of 5 data files with data size of 4.12 MB (compressed into 1 file with 2.78 MB).
