Abstract:

Ethiopian Oasis, sustained by river networks and lakes, mainly consists of the Chelif River Oasis, Abbe Lake Oasis, and Jubba River Oasis, etc. Its geo-location is between 3°56′17″N and 11°52′57″N, 40°53′00″E and 45°05′22″E. The total area is 7,865.62 km² (Albers). It is composed of 8 individual oases. Among them, the largest oasis is the Chelif River Oasis, which covers an area of 3,616.66 km². The dataset was developed based on Google Earth 2020 imagery and related maps. The dataset is archived in .kmz and .shp data formats, and consists of 17 data files with data size of 22.5 MB (Compressed into 2 files with 9.66 MB).
