Abstract：
The spatial dataset of Historical and Cultural Cities, Towns and Villages in Gansu Province, China was developed based on the list of three batches of National Historical and Cultural Cities published by the State Council, the list of seven batches of Chinese Historical and Cultural Towns (Villages) published by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development and the National Cultural Heritage Administration, and the information on Provincial Historical and Cultural Cities, Towns, and Villages in Gansu Province on the website of Gansu Provincial Bureau of Cultural Heritage, integrated with "91 Satellite Map Assistants". The dataset includes the names of 37 Historical and Cultural Cities, Towns, Villages in Gansu Province, city-level administrative districts, county-level administrative districts, town-level administrative districts, types, levels, approval agencies, approval time, batches, longitude, latitude, elevation, and other information. The dataset is archived in .shp and. xlsx data formats, and consists of 8 data files with data size of 91.5 KB (Compressed into one file with 45.5 KB).
