Abstract：
Mr. WANG Yangming is the preeminent synthesizer of the School of Mind in the Ming Dynasty. The authors systematically constructed a database of Mr. WANG Yangming’s life footprints based on the CIDOC Conceptual Reference Model (CIDOC CRM) semantic framework, aiming to provide available data and methodological references for research on the history of School of Mr. WANG Yangming, historical geography, and spatial digital humanities. The dataset includes: (1) tabular data: Mr. WANG Yangming’s life activity footprints and classification of key events, including year, official position, place name (ancient and present), key events, and their classification; (2) vector data: point data of Mr. WANG Yangming's life footprints and key event locations, including total point data and categorized point data (covering teaching events, military events, life events, and official career events). The dataset consists of 41 data files with a total size of 557 KB (compressed into one file of 62.1 KB).
