  • Journal information：Acta Geographica Sinica, founded in 1934, is an academic journal superintended by Chinese Academy of Sciences and sponsored by the Geographical Society of China and the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is a top-level comprehensive academic journal reflecting the research level of geographical science in China, and is also an excellent core journal in Geography in China. Acta Geographica Sinica has made great contributions to the research and development of Geography of China. Since 2001, the impact factors of Acta Geographica Sinica have been in the top 10 of Chinese sci-tech journals and ranked the first in Geography, with the citation frequency in the top 50 and the first in Chinese sci-tech journals and in Geography, respectively. Acta Geographica Sinica was indexed in EI in 2016 (back to 2006). Acta Geographica Sinica mainly publishes the latest research results that can reflect the highest academic level of Geography, the comprehensive research progress of Geography and related disciplines, the frontier theory of various branches of Geography, and geographical papers closely related to the national economy and of great application value.
