Abstract:

The Land Suitability Assessment Dataset for Hippophae rhamnoides L. in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China was developed based on Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) data, integrated with the MaxEnt model and GIS. Firstly, distribution data of Hippophae rhamnoides L. in Xinjiang were obtained from GBIF and filtered using ENMTools; Secondly, the data including 19 bioclimatic variables from WorldClim(2.1), 3 topographic variables, and 9 soil characteristics data from Harmonized World Soil Database were utilized to conduct maximum entropy modeling using the MaxEnt model. Lastly, the land suitability assessment (i.e., determination of potential suitable areas) for Hippophae rhamnoides L. in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China was simulated using GIS under current climate conditions. The dataset includes: (1) land suitability assessment data for Hippophae rhamnoides L. in Xinjiang, with spatial resolution of 30"; (2) coordinate points of Hippophae rhamnoides L. in Xinjiang (Cited data). The dataset is archived in .shp, .tif, .xlsx and .txt data formats, and consists of 17 data files with data size of 378 KB (Compressed into one file with 285 KB).
